Biofeedback teaches the body to control its physiological response to stress thus avoiding the tinnitus to get worse. Stress reduction activities can help a person cope up with tinnitus. Stress reduction includes 30 minutes of moderate physical activity. Exercise not only fights tinnitus but also improves blood circulation. Meditation helps a patient to focus and therefore redirect his attention away from the ringing.
