I have Meneries Disease, Is ther a cure?

I have Meneries Disease for the last number of years and have suddenly inherited Tinnitus. I have been to my ENT. Consultant and he put me on Serp Tablets which don't seem to be working. The buzzing in my ear is so annoying that sometimes I feel like screaming.

My Audioligist did a hearing test last week and she told me I only have 40% hearing in my bad ear which is my left ear.
