The Cochlea Damage For Noise Induced Tinnitus Remedy(Type 4 Tinnitus) , Is One Of Our Original Remedies And Is Certainly Our Most Successful Tinnitus Treatment Remedy.A Tinnitus Frequently Asked Question: Very high pitch whistle.
Joseph Asked :
I am very interested in your remedies but need some help before deciding which one to select. I seem to fit into 2 different categories at the same time.
The noise I hear is a very high pitch whistle ( a bit like one of those dog whistles) but I am fairly sure that the tinitus was caused by having my ear syringed to remove wax. ( which you say is the wrong noise for the wrong cause.) So my question is which of the remedies would apply to my case?
I hear the noise in my right ear - my doctor tells me the canal is a strange shape - should I have it checked out? Another question. Recently the tinitus has got worse; is it possible that air travel can cause this?
Also: recently my left ear has got blocked with wax. (after air travel) and I now have a loud high pitched whistle in that ear too. I am hoping that when the wax dissolves from the almond oil I am putting in ( I am definitely not having it syringed) the noise will go.....
It would be great if you could help, this has been going on for ten years and is driving me crazy, especially since it has just got worse in...
Our Response:
Hello Joseph,
There is no doubt in my mind that the root cause of your tinnitus is a result of cochlea damage due to the ear wax removal. This actually happens pretty often and really annoys me that ear syringing is done so readily without the consequences being taken into account. The inner ear structures are extremely delicate and sensitive therefore damage happens very easily. Even continued use of ear buds can cause damage.
You mention that the noise you hear is not one that is listed - the noises we list are only general guidelines and not everyone hears the same noises - I can however tell you from my experience of dealing with tinnitus sufferers that many people with cochlea damage induced tinnitus describe the noise as a high pitched whistle.
Joseph, yes - it is very possible for air travel to aggravate one's tinnitus and cause the intensity of the tinnitus to increase. The fact that you are now experiencing noise in both ears is also a common thing - one often starts with tinnitus in one ear and then it ends up in the other ear as well.
