A Stress Tinnitus Frequently Asked Question: Linked to his severe anxiety state
 |
Lois Asked : |
Hello John.
First I must thank you for all your kind interest in our tinnitus problem. In fact, the person with a severe (at the moment) tinnitus is my husband Dirk who is 75 years old and has had tinnitus for the last 12 years. I am 68 and a retired State Registerd Nurse. I printed out the booklet for him to read and it gave him a great deal of comfort to read and he certainly identified with the writer.
Dirk's tinnitus is very strongly linked to his irritable bowel syndrome, and both of these are linked to his severe anxiety state. These conditions arise from his sensitive nature, and his stress level, which is one of the reasons why he retired very early from the building business when he was only 52.He has a white noise aid, and he practises his own sort of meditation, he has a CD player on which he plays quiet music to sooth himself at night.
Sleeping is not a problem because he takes Zanor, which reduces his anxiety state therefore allowing relaxation and sleep. For a few years , it has been manageable but suddenly, just a week or so ago, it escalated to an unbearable level. A level that he is unable to manage, hence my venture into the internet looking for some info and updating on this condition. As we speak today, it has not improved.
He is amazingly good natured with it and refuses to take it out on anybody else, but it is affecting our life. Restaurants are out because of loud music they insist on playing even though the bulk of customers are elderly. TV is out because of the crashing and banging of some of the American action films. Shopping centres are out because of the echoing. Children screaming are hell. (aren't they always?) The car also makes it worse.Crickets are murder.
Along with many screechy birds. Yesterday, he bought some "swimmers ear plugs" to ram into his ears so that we could at least go into a restaurant and enjoy a meal. The plugs seem to have worked. So we will keep on trying to bring it down to a manageable level, for both our sakes.. Once again thankyou for your interest.
Kind regards Lois Romijn

Our Response: |
Dear Lois,
I am John's wife Ellen and I work together with John to help and assist tinnitus sufferers wherever we can. I am truly sorry to hear that your husband Dirk is suffering from tinnitus as it is a horrific ailment. I must tell you that I think he must be a wonderfully good natured person as the majority of tinnitus sufferers find it extremely difficult to cope and this very often impacts on their families and causes huge problems.
I think that the majority of people just cannot even begin to imagine how difficult it is living with tinnitus. Thankfully you do! It is so much easier when one has an understanding partner. However the bottom line is that it definitely affects one's quality of life! I must say that Dirk is definitely being very sensible and is doing all the correct things in order to try control and live with his tinnitus but as you said it really does affect one's quality of life.
In order to get effective relief from tinnitus it is critical to treat the root cause of one's tinnitus.Lois, you are quite correct there is no doubt that Dirk's anxiety and stress has caused the tinnitus but you made mention of him being in the building industry years ago - this makes me wonder if he was not exposed to loud noise during this time in the building business.
Exposure to loud noise is the most common cause of cochlea damage induced tinnitus.Lois, it seems very likely that Dirk is suffering from two different types of tinnitus - namely cochlea damage which we refer to as type 4 tinnitus and stress induced tinnitus which we refer to as type 7.
To treat this condition it is necessary to take two separate and distinct tinnitus relief remedies in conjunction with one another. Many people have taken both these tinnitus relief remedies and achieved good results.
This remedy has achieved remarkable success at
relieving tinnitus caused from:
-
Depression
-
Anxiety
-
Stress

"I now tell any one who has this dreaded noise about your product and the success I have experienced sure hope they give you a try."
"In 17 years I have never had a QUIET DAY in both ears ever. I do now sometimes go 3 days of total silence.
Those days are so dear to me, its hard to explain. I can't begin to thank you so much for your concern in this tinnitus research.
They talk about doing stem cell research here but it wont be available for another decade, but please send your money. I no longer give them a dime.
Maybe you have heard of them, out of Oregon called the American Tinnitus Association. I made them aware of your product and how it has helped me and all they can say is be careful.
I now tell any one who has this dreaded noise about your product and the success I have experienced sure hope they give you a try. I tell them they have everything to lose and that being the NOISE.
Well enough boring you with my Gibberish....
Just want you to know THANK YOU THANK YOU."
