I do not really believe that the root cause of your tinnitus is from sinus. The tinnitus noise you have described (a constant high pitched ringing), as well as the fact that you have have a severe blow to the head, makes it almost certain that you have got cochlear damage.
Tinnitus and hearing loss from cochlea damage is the most common tinnitus type and we fortunately have excellent results in treating this tinnitus type.
A little known fact is that there are literally millions of petite cells within the cochlea that get stimulated by the pressure of loud noise.
As a sound is received by the ear and those auditory hairs start moving, electric signals pulse through the nerves which your brain figures out to be a sound.
This agitation precedes movement of one's dainty hair nerve cells, reminisent of a field of wheat on a farm shifting in concert with a breeze.
All those minute nerve cells the delicate nerves are very easily damaged when you are exposed to loud noise over a period of time. The damage is automatically intensified if you have been exposed to loud noises over an extended period of time.
