I'm not sure about auditory nerve damage, as a kid I had frequent earaches with colds.
I believe that frequent earaches with colds has possibly caused some hearing loss and tinnitus. Now I have this ringing in my ears constantly, sometimes louder than others.
Our Answers...
Hi Phillip,
I bet you didn't realize that there are millions of dainty hairs deep inside the ear that get stimulated by the enormous pressures of sound waves caused by external noise.
When a noise is received by your ear and those little hairs wave around, electrical impulses are sent via the auditory nerve which the brain translates as sound.
The stimulation brings about movement of all those infinitesimal hairs, very similar to a field of wheat on a farm rustling in time with the wind.
All those tiny nerve endings and the microscopic auditory nerves get damaged easily when you are exposed to loud noise over a period of time. The nerve damage is automatically worse if you have played in a orchestra or a rock band over an extended period of time.
These sensitive organs can also be damaged as a result of a bad blow to the head. Those auditory hairs can get bent or even chopped-off and then randomly produce electric pulses directly to the brain which interprets them as a noise, although there is no sound present.
Cochlear damage ear ringing leading to ringing noises in the ears can also be caused from ear wax treatments gone wrong, ear candles, scuba diving, sport injury problems, nasal passage surgery also from middle ear infections.
Bad hearing loss is beyond recall but the T-Gone tinnitis remedies have proved to be extremely successful at dramatically lowering the levels of tinnitus caused from cochlear damage. When an external noise is heard the many thousands of small hairs in the inner ear are stimulated.
Whenever an external sound is picked up the tiny hairs sway and send signals via the auditory nerve which is interpreted as a noise by your brain.
The agitation of the hairs in the cochlea can be likened to a field of long grass rippling in tune with the wind.
These minute hair cells and those infinitesimal auditory nerves get damaged easily when subjected to loud noises. Obviously those that are unfortunate enough to work in a very loud environment or frequent very noisy pubs over a period of time will experience more damage.
Noise related cochlear damage tinnitus which can cause a ringing in the ears often is caused ear wax removals, a procedure known as ear candling, swimming accidents, hurting yourself playing sports, dental surgery.
Loss of hearing is permanent but our cochlear damage remedies have successfully reduced the ear ringing levels of many thousands of tinnitus sufferers.
Now you know Phillip, that you can get some relief for ringing in ear problems!
Regards,
John
