Hi Alexis,
I found your site this morning whilst searching for more information, it is always good to find that there is someone else out there willing to help.
I have had Tinnitus for 24 years in its various moods and changes, the uncertainty of not knowing what it is going to be like the next day when one goes to bed is so frustrating and worrying.
I live in a small village in the UK Midlands near Nottingham and live on a road of approx 40 houses and of the people that I actually know on there including myself there are 5 (males) who have tinnitus, not knowing many of the females perhaps I might find a similar number of those, if I did know them. Do you find that there is a dominance of one or the other or is it quite even.
There is perhaps 1,500 adults in the village and I have recently wondered if a Tinnitus self help group would be an idea.
You may be interested to learn that I am currently using both T-Gone and Alpha products (belt and bracers) and pleased to know that they are ones that you recommend.
That you for the offer to mail.
Mike
Women Ears Ringing
Women Ears Ringing
It is a myth that men are more prone to suffering from ears [tag-tec]tinnitus[/tag-tec] than women! In fact we have found that a majority of our clients are woman.
Obviously this is not a conclusive trial or anything but is merely an observation on my part because for some reasom I am often asked this question.
I really have no idea why people ask about women with ears ringing but I thought I would answer this question as best I can from our records.
Some 55.3% of our clients are women. Of course this could just be that amaore women with ringing in the ears choose to do something about their condition than men but somehow I don’t think so.
I have a feeling that woman are just as prone to having their ears ringing from [tag-ice]tinnitus[/tag-ice] as men are.
