Managing Stress
Hi John,
Thank you for your feed-back. My problem is mostly related to stress and ear and sinus issues. Although I have been a pilot all my life and have some high frequency hearing damage. I have completely read your book and have confirmed much of what I have suspected for some time.
I have been to the ear specialist and there is no help there, just as you are saying. I am planning a change of lifestyle and remove the stress. Interestingly enough, I am a single parent raising an 8 year old boy and that gives me no stress at all.
I very much enjoy the role and find great satisfaction (stress relief), mainly because it requires a routine, and routine is good for stress. My view on the subject is that it will get much worse before it will get better.
The North American Society is self-destructing and stress is going to be the major killer, if it isn’t already. Like you are saying in your book, look for the cause. The cause is that this society is ****** and people are stressing out more and more.
Unfortunately we can’t all go and live on an island in the Caribbean and kiss the stress goodbye, but I sure as hell am going to try.

Hello Paul, You really seem
to have the stress situation sussed out and that is most important. This is obviously not just abut tinnitus being aggravated by stress but our quality of life in general.
If one doesn’t learn to manage stress it will affect our lives far more drastically than simply increasing the tinnitus levels, in fact it is a killer as you point out and one that is going to need a lot of work by individuals as the pace of our lives hots up.
That island sure sounds like a plan!
