18 Shots With A 12 Gauge - Hello Tinnitus

John & Ellen

I have appreciated all the information that I have received from You. Let me tell You my story and hope I can get it across enough that You might understand. Last June 21, 2007 Fathers Day I think My two Daughters and I went to an inside firing range. I bought a automatic 12 gage shot gun about 10 yrs ago and had never fired it, could of gone behind my home on any given day and let off couple shots in the wooded area, lots of firing there especially 4th of July’s, but I did not. I had turned in my large ear protection when I retired two years and never thought I would need them, I stuck in some ear plugs, did not push them in far enough I now know. I fired 18 shots which took all of about 20 minuets. I came out and removed those plugs and its been a different world since for me, my ears felt like they where full of wax, mud etc. Hearing in the right is noise only, can not understand words, left ear yes if I am looking at the person only. I do not understand the television or radio, very little. When I go where there are lots of noise, stores etc., I have to have ear plugs, noise hurts my ears. Now I am 77 yrs old and have worked in noisy places for past 45 yrs. I worked in the field of Air Conditioning on large tonnage equipment etc. I just retired two years ago with pretty good hearing so I thought. I was in the Artillery in the army but worked in the Personnel Dept. the last year in which all I did was typing in a quiet environment.( I have had lots of Dental Surgery in past years too)

I have been to 6 different ENT”S at the VA, had a Catz Scan and an MRI of the head, I have nerve damage but no brain damage so they say. Nerve damage will not cause the fullness feeling so they tell me but can not tell me why I have it. They are not sure hearing aids will help me but have not offered to try them on me nor have I tried them elsewhere, your opinion if you please. The VA sent me to a Physiologist because I told my Wife I was going take that shot gun out in the middle of Lake Erie and jump in with it, She told the VA Doctor that I was going to commit suicide, not just yet, like to never gotten away from that guy after five appointments.

Well John I hope you have gotten the picture where I stand today and if You or Ellen think that you have a treatment to help clear up my ears and get me back to at least half where I was before all this happened I am willing to try it. Oh, one ENT give me prescription for Papaverine 150 MG Capsules, said it would clear up some junk in my head, any comment? This has been long, thanks for listing. I will wait to hear from You. I have all information from You in a separate folder.

Hiya Kelso,

You obviously enjoy life too much to contemplate spending time in Lake Erie so let us see what I can advise. Your problems all stem for cochlear damage. AT your at some damage is normal and it would not be unusual to be experiencing hearing loss as a result.

Given your background in the armed forces, your episode with the shotgun and the (lots of) dental surgery you mention, I am 100% certain that the sudden hearing loss and tinnitus has been caused by cochlea damage. This was undoubtedly triggered by the extremely loud noises when firing the shotgun in an enclosed place.

Hyperacusis (an extreme sensitivity to sound) is always caused from cochlea damage and this is what is causing the pain whilst in noisy public places. The hearing loss is permanent I’m afraid, but we have been able to help many hyperacusis and tinnitus sufferers over the years. In fact once you are able to reduce the levels of ear noises (tinnitus) your comprehension in normal conversations will improve automatically.

That is the best we are able to offer you a this stage. Obviously any reduction in the tinnitus and the sensitivity to loud noises will help. The remedy you will need to order to treat the hyperacusis and tinnitus is our EXTRA STRENGTH Cochlea Damage Tinnitus Remedy.

You can order that remedy by choosing the regular cochlear damage tinnitus remedy and the selecting the Extra Strength option in the shopping cart. In view of your age and the serious nature of your condition you will almost certainly need to take the remedy for an extended period, by I would suggest a 90 day supply at the very minimum to start with.

You can order the remedy from this link. Make sure you select the extra strength option in the shopping cart.

Keep your chin up Kelso and hopefully we can help you get some enjoyment and pleasure back in your everyday life!

John Currie

P.S. Don’t stop taking the Papaverine 150 MG Capsules, our remedies won’t be affected by them, just read the product sheet and check that tinnitus is not listed as a side effect of the Papaverine 150 MG Capsules.
