I The sound I hear constantly, now, I would describe as an annoying “hissing” and sometimes it will accelerate to a “squeal” and that affects my nervous system. I have what I call “ups & downs” and this has been going on for weeks. What I mean by this is some days the noise is “quiet” that doesn’t mean it is “gone” it means it is “low”..but other days it is a “squealing hissing” and it interrupts my day..in short, no matter what I do it “holds my attention” but the “stress relief” formula helps me alot as it doesn’t leave me with a “stressed out” feeling. I can’t tolerate certain sounds which only “accelerate” the noise in my ears..those sounds are a “screaming baby near-by” or if one clacks a dish a certain way that causes me to “jump” and also I cannot tolerate “high frequency sounds” that sometimes come over radios..or “voice things that people use so that their voice can be heard “everywhere”..in short, sharp sounds like that cause my “noise in my ears to “accelerate” and it takes a while for the noise in my ears to “go back down” to where they were..I don’t know why this happens to me..those particular noises (even a screaming baby..if that baby is near me) seem to “shatter me” and makes me leave the area where these noises persist..especially the “static?” noises that I described I hear at times..they can make me cry..I don’t know what else to say..then, over a period of time I actually think the noises in my ears are “going away” (which, of course, they haven’t as they soon return to my discouragement) I don’t know how else to explain this problem except perhaps I’m having difficulty with this problem so long (I”m in my 8th month on the Type 4 remedy) is because of my age which is 71…I continue to do the usual things in my life which is keeping house, even riding a stationary bike which I have in my home..it is wierd, but sometimes, when I just go outside my home and sit out on the lawn..it seems to somehow make the sounds in my ears “tone down”..this is wierd and rustrating for me because from day to day I never know “what” or “how” my ears are going to act..but it is with me 24 hours a day and night..I just wish it would all “go away”..it’s like an unwelcome guest is how I would put it..I pray all the time for God, Himself, to help me with this..I don’t like for my husband to know how hard this is on me..he is a good man and has had cancer and works hard around this home. We are both retired..he is 78 and I don’t know what I would do if I lost him..our children don’t even realize how this problem is affecting me as I don’t want them to worry. I don’t know if this will help anyone else or not..when the noise in my ears is bearable I enjoy reading..but when it is accelerated I can’t even enjoy reading as the noise seems to be an annoying & irritating thing..sometimes I go off and cry and sometimes the crying gives me some relief..but the “best thing” that helps me is the “stress relief” pills. All of this ear problem started after I suffered the following ailments..all within a few months of each other..first a horrible experience with virtigo that lasted some time..even when “laying down” I felt like I was “falling” but that eventually straightened out..a month after that I had a case of “shingles” and a month after that I had my first cataract surgery..4 months later I had the cataract surgery in the other eye..then I had gall bladder problems which ended up with me having surgery..then..would you believe..this ear problem presented itself. I had high blood pressure but I’m allergic to at least 3 medications..
Tinitus Tip #2 – Identify The Cause of Tinnitus By The Sounds You Hear
Hello, this is John Currie from T-Gone.com with our weekly tinnitus tip.
The video below discuss the different noises heard by tinnitus sufferers. As you may know, the noises and sounds associated with tinnitus are many and varied. And nearly everyone describes those sounds differently.
- What one person describes as a “high pitched ringing” could well be described by another as a “whistling” or even as a “continuous screaming in my ears.”
Describing the noises that tinnitus sufferers hear is thus really open to the individual’s interpretation. For this reason one cannot always rely on the noises that you hear and describe, to correctly determine the tinnitus type or cause with any degree of certainty.
- Having said that, our dealings and communications with countless thousands of tinnitus sufferers over the years has enabled us to pinpoint the most common tinnitus noises associated with certain causes of tinnitus with a fair degree of accuracy.
The tinnitus noises and causes described are based on success stories and testimonials we have received from clients who have found relief using a particular remedy to relieve tinnitus that was causing them to hear certain distinct sounds.
The first tinnitus cause we will discuss is tinnitus from cochlear damage which can be the result of:
- exposure to noise
- a blow to the head – either from a fall, a motor accident or even the airbags inflating in a motor accident
- an ear wax removal gone wrong
- sports injuries
- dental or head surgery
- ear or nasal passage surgery
- middle ear infections and fevers
- inner ear infections and problems
Those life events all can lead to cochlear damage which causes the following tinnitus sounds to be heard:
- ringing of bells bells
- chirping sounds
- sounds like cicadas or crickets
- roaring, hissing and fluttering sounds
Where people have experienced traumatic life events or live very stressful lives the following sounds are reported:
- whizzing sounds
- rushing sounds like water in a waterfall
- ear ringing
- high pitched whistling
Where people have experienced continued Sinus or Allergy Problems the following sounds are reported:
- Clucking or cracking sounds
- Gurgling, whirring sounds
- a ringing tone in the affected ear which comes and goes periodically, lasting a few seconds at a time.
You can use these noises to identify the cause of your tinnitus with a fair degree of accuracy however you must also take into account the life events that could have lead to your tinnitus problems, and then to make an informed decision as to the cause of your tinnitus.
Why is identifying the cause of the tinnitus so important?
Well, it is vitally important because once you have pinpointed the cause of your tinnitus; you can then order the correct remedy to treat the tinnitus.
For an in depth view of the causes of tinnitus and the types of tinnitus we can successfully treat, you can visit http://www.t-gone.com/tinnitus/
This is John Currie and I look forward to your comments and suggestions forfuture tinnitus tips.

Mine is a very high pitched noise that comes and goes but I believe I have self-diagnosed myself as 2 ETN’s could not find anything wrong even after an MRI:
I am pretty sure that I have TMJ although my teeth do not show excessive wear.
What I noticed at times is that I am not grinding so much as moving my lower jaws back n forward just slight against my front teeth during very focused periods (operating a PC or watching TV for long periods).
Having said that, if I consciously monitor myself, I find I can eliminate a good portion of the t-noise by the time I go to bed.
Hope this helps some of you.

Like Claire above, I forgot to mention, what could be a possible cause.
The events (exactly two months) resulting in my move to Great Britain from Zimbabwe, were indeed very traumatic. To make stressful matters even worse, my husband died just days before our departure date.
I also note, that I incorrectly typed my e-mail address on my last message. I have now corrected it.

Hi John, Thank you for emailing me. My problem as I described to you a while ago is a hissing sound which can be loud sometimes and bearable others. I t can change from hissing (like running electricity) to whisles etc. it is hard to take and even sometimes at night time it seems that I can hear murmors of voices from far away (very seldom in the silence of the night). I cannot be close to noises of dishes etc. loud music affects me very much, as well as sharp voices or crying kids. The nights are hard and it is worse when I am stressed. What helps most is my faith in God. When I cannot take the tinnitus anymore and cry and get very upset I pray to The Lord to help me which He always does. Some nights when it is impossible to sleep with the noise, I call the Holy Spirit to help me to sleep and the next thing I know is when I am waking up the next morning. I am taking Tebonnin which I think it has helped, it has gingho bilola. I relate to Claire in suggestions here and believe that probably your medicine could help me also, the one that is for stress. I also suffer from sinnusitis and I believe it is related to the tinnitus.
I hope this helps to the people who haven’t realized yet that the best surgeon is God, for the ones who don’t know God yet, I pray that through the tinnitus will make you know Him. I also believe that your medicines help and you take a lot of trouble to contact us and explain the many ways that we could be helped and that by itself is a very Christian way to reach out to help others in need of recovering their health.
For the person who wrote about the moving the lower jaw, I have also that problen it gives me other sounds but, I have checked with the specialist and he said that of course everything is related so the jaw movement will also affect the tinnintus but, not necessarily be the cause.
Avoid loud music, dishes touching each other, cutlery noise, loud pitch noises, sharp sounds, crowds, more than anything PRAY TO GOD.

Hi, My wissing in my ears are very much the same, but the loadness will very from time to time, but it is still there 24-7. It was caused, by my interpration from reading your book, from an expulsion 40 years ago. My right ear is the worst and the left is only about half as bad. The right ear had burst ear drum. and healed ery good, at least thats what the Dr. said. Each year that goes by I feel the noise gets worst. What can I do?

The condition I experience is a very high pitch ring in both ears. I’m exsposed to loud noises during working hours plus the screaming noises from hydraulic pumps. Been in skill trades for over 35 years which I’ve have to deal with a lot of stress, not enough sleep from working midnights for a number of years and high blood pressure.
I wear ear plugs as much as possible, but have to remove them so to hear the other person talking to me.
Wearing ear plugs increases the ringing noise trapped in my head and I won’t wear my hearing aids during the time that I’m working, cause I don’t need to amplify the noise any further.
Still, when wearing my hearing aids, I’m hard of hearing to people that talk softly. The aids give me more of a “white sound” so to deal with daily functions.
Sleeping is another problem all together! Before I had to wear hearing aids the ringing was so intents that I had to exhaust myself just to get some sleep. Now, before I fall to sleep, I’ll take a cool shower, turn on the T.V. or radio and set the timer to em shut off. Once I’m asleep, I’m out! But if I’m disturbed in anyway, somebody is going to pay “holy hell for it” cause it’s hard to fall back to sleep again……
So, that’s what I have to deal with every second of every hour of everyday. And I know, I’m not the only person that’s experiencing this problem!

My tinnitus was caused a near fatal motorcycle accident. I have endured it for 30 years and never even knew what is was. I had just always accepted it and went on thankful I was alive. The cochlea in my ear is completely destroyed. If you personally answer this, I have just started my research and would appreciate any info you can provide.
Thank you

Dear John,
Many thanks for your email and helpful information. I have just left a phone message for you and look forward to speaking with you. From listening to your brief video regarding the types of sounds Tinnitus sufferers have described, I perceive you possess real knowledge and genuine sympathy for people plagued with this condition. I am one of those people with a type of Tinnitus that offers NO intermission from the high-pitched stream of noise. It is akin to the high-pitched sound one might associate with the sound an electrical highwire makes. I have been fighting a mounting sense of hopelessness for the discovery of some degree of relief. Because I know that nothing happens by accident- I rejoiced at the discovery of you and your website. I am hopeful again!
I have a question which, when answered, will guide me as to the selection of a remedy from those your company offers. Because I have, with a sufficient degree of satisfaction, identified my particular type of Tinnitus, I must conclude that my problem stems from a combination of cochlear AND stress- a stress that I am under as a result of a home invasion that took place a year ago. The residual stress from that event has, I am sure, added to my Tinnitus problem. My question is: Would I take a combination of your offered products? If so, what might be the dosage?
I am anxiously awaiting your reply. Thank you so much for your time and interest.
Sincerely,
Susan Geraci

Thanks John,
Just to give you feedback, which I assume you are looking for:
I found the video informative and you spoke well; also good that you had the script written down so those who learn better by reading can refer to it as you talk, or can refer after you are done.
If I may — I might suggest that you lower the sound of the background music because some serious sufferers might have trouble hearing you speaking (I did not but others might). In addition, you might consider putting more soothing music in the background, such as classical music. Reason being — back when I first had my tinnitus and you guys were so helpful to me, I was really scared and something more soothing would have worked better for me had I been visiting the site for the first time.
I’m doing very well these days, thanks in good part to the great work you guys do on tinnitus and the help you’ve given me!
I hope you are happily settled in England, where I understand you were headed last time I spoke with Ellen. Give her my very best and let her know I still hope to visit England soon — at Jim’s next business trip.
Cheers
Diana

Hi Dianna,
Great to hear from you and many thanks for the kind words!
It is great to hear you are doing so much better with your tinnitus these days. You really have persisted, and had the patience and most importantly, the determination to beat tinnitus and now finally you have! Well done!
I know it took many emails, and you took various t-gone remedies over a period but the most important thing is that you are well, happy and tinnitus is no longer ruling your life!
I will also ensure that the sound quality of the video is better and with a much lowered background music track as well. Thanks for the suggestion.
These videos will only improve, I am still a novice, but at least I am a quick learner! :0

I started the sinus formula two days ago. I know it took a while for my tinnitus to get this loud, it will take time to have it reduced. I do believe mine is sinus related. At times I hear a sound like my ears are going to pop and open up. I’m hoping this product will work. If not…I will try the cocklear formula. I know you all are very sincere and know what you are talking about. After contacting you I know I have someone on my side that cares. The ENTs and Audio specialist sure didn’t. How insensitive they have been. I hope your product works on me so I can tell my ENT a thing or two. I’ll keep you posted.
Thanks

Hi
Thank you for the information.
My tinnitus is a pulsating kind which beats in time to my heart rate. I have had this for 4 years now. It has affected my sleep patterns and seems to get louder when I am tired or stressed over something.
I have had full medical check ups 2 years running, including blood tests (including colestral checks) and everything has proved to be normal.
The check ups have included a brain scan and all has turned out normal. The only help the NHS has offered is another noise provided by a hearing type aid to camourflage my tinnitus.
I have not met anyone with this type of tinnitus.
Somtimes it makes me feel quite depressed, fed up and pannicky. I don’t know what has caused it, I just woke up during the night with it, and have had it ever since.
Yours
Pat

I have suffered with Tinnitus for about 2 years due to Meniere’s Disease. Last week I had nasal surgery and when I was in recovery my left ear was ringing so loud that I would say it was screaming. The volume somewhat lowered but was consistantly much louder than usual for about 3 days. Has anyone else experienced this same reaction from surgery? If so, was it from the trauma of surgery, the fact that it was nasal surgery, or the drugs they used while I was under?

Thanks John for your reply and the useful information on the website and video. Unlike many people here i have only been suffering from Tinnitus for 2 months after going to a very loud concert that caused me to go deaf for 2 days after. I did not realise before i iwent to the concert that i had started with a middle ear infection so the loud music only made things worse and now i’m really suffering. I have fluid in my left ear and when i yawn or swallow feels like i am underwater. The ringing is soo lous in my left ear i cannot hear background noise and have to sleep with the radio on continuously. In my right ear i have been left with a ’static hissing’ noise which is also very disressing. I used to enjoy reading quietly in bed and now i have forgotten what silence is like. I have been back and forth to the doctor and am visiting 2 hospitals next week to have CT scans and tests. I cry almost every day wishing i hadn’t gone to the concert as i only went to please someone else and now i have been left with this. I didnt know that one silly mistake would ruin my life. I am only 25. After my tests etc i am going to try the Choclear damage T-gone formula and hope and pray it might bring some relief. I wish all of you luck as i know how horrible this condition is.

John I have not ordered for a while to see, if any difference if I stopped for awhile, I think it may have a pschological effect, where my brain thinks at least I am trying something rather than nothing at all. What I would like to do is change from what I have been taking, to the damaged Cochlea, I think was caused by Dental Hygiene cleaning, that is when it started a day or two after, I felt my whole head vibrate, I remember saying to my self, I hope she had not damaged anything, that is when I noticed the ringing….
July 23, 2008
I now think damage was done through dental work, Hygiene cleaning….

thankyou for your updates on this pest. I have lived with tinnitus for ten years now. mine gets serius when i encounter anything which would make me sneeze say like cold droughts or dust. so I have learned to avoid anything which will make me sneeze. Atihistamines have only alleviated the sneeze but the humming in my left ear goes on. Iam looking forwand to the day Ishall be able to wake up at night and enjoy the night sound and not the humm in my ears.

My mom whom is 88 years old had open heart surgery 16 months ago and has been diagnosed as having Meniers since 1 month after suergery. She has a buzzing sound always and her hearing has dropped 80% and now is having dizziness. Which formula would you advise her to take?

I don’t even know how long I’ve been experiencing tinnitis, but it’s a high pitched ringing in two or three tones in both ears, the sound of cicadas, and sometimes a clicking sound.
I noticed hearing loss (from either ear infections as a child or loud noises) when I was in my 20’s. I’ve had three head injuries — once as a child in a car accident, once when I was college age hitting the bottom of a pool after going down a slide head first, and once having hit my head on the pavement after being struck by a car as a pedestrian. I also have TMJ.
Is the TMJ from one of the head injuries? Is the tinnitis from the TMJ? There are too many variables.
I know that I’ve lost more hearing in my right ear in the past 5-7 years, because ENT exams show the changes. The left ear shows some hearing loss but not nearly as profound as the right ear.
I’ve learned to try to tune it (the tinnitis) out most of the time, but sometimes, it’s so loud I can’t ignore it.
I’ve been told by the ENT that I could wear hearing aids, but I don’t see how magnifying the sounds around me, on top of tinnitis, will help me distinguish what people are saying.

putting emty sea shells against your ears is a good way of helping tinnitus.the gentle whirling sound they make helps reduce it slightly.

Two years ago I was volunteering performing music when an inexperienced sound man came into the room and turned the volume and equalizer to the ear monitors I was wearing to 152 decibels. I protected my ears my entire life and this one incident has done so much damage. Ever since I have had severe ear pain, ear spasms, Tinnitus and hearing loss. My health is not well and I am in need of a miracle from God. I understand what Job went though and it took time for a reason. Please pray for healing of my entire body.
I found a prayer that I wrote to God a short while ago:
Dear Lord,
My own life has become my worst nightmare that never ends. My hearing is diminished and the ringing haunts every minute of my life. The spasms in my ears are like a knife. I have pain throughout my body. My only prayer is to be well enough to go to church and help other people again. I miss the joy I once had and the smile that was always on my face. How long do I have to suffer before you will rescue me?
Paul
