When Fat Intake is Considered Healthy – It Prevents Hearing Loss
We are not talking about the ordinary fatty food out of those pork meat that we eat. They just do nothing but help shorten the lives of people who eat them regularly. What we are referring to here is the healthy omega 3 fatty acid. I am pretty sure you guys are familiar with omega 3 and the health benefits that it is said to have especially for grown-ups.
Aside from reducing the risk of acquiring health problems like diseases of the heart and high cholesterol levels, Omega 3 is said to reduce the risk of presbycusis (an age related hearing loss). When you reach the age of 50 and above you will notice this. However, it is said that some people experience it as early as at the age of 18.
There is abundant source of omega 3 from salmon, cod, walnuts, flax and chia seeds. Isn’t it nice? You are not only free from stroke and heart attacks, but you also have a good sense of hearing. Talk about living life to the fullest!
It is never too late to start a diet that is healthy. Incorporate lots of omega 3 on that diet.
