Anyone Can Suffer from Hearing Loss
Quality action films are filled with heart thumping action scenes. Most of these scenes are actually performed by real people, but with the camera tricks to make it less dangerous for the actors and stunt men. During the filming of some of these scenes, accidents do happen despite the preparations and safety precautions made. Even superstar Bruce Willis was not spared. He suffered a partial hearing loss in his left ear while he was filming the first hit movie Die Hard.
It is so annoying whenever you have to ask people to repeat themselves because you didn’t hear them. What’s more painful is that sometimes, it depends on the gravity of the damage, that it is irreversible. In some cases, it even leads to tinnitus. And despite the many new tinnitus treatment methods presented by many experts, the fact still remains- the damage has been done. Even with the entire money superstar Bruce Willis gained from filming the movie, no medical treatment has helped him take back what he used to enjoy without the hearing loss.
Though not fatal, the effects could sometimes lead to other problems like irritability which could damage relationships to the family, friends and co-workers. Many people have to live with it every day for the rest of their lives.
