Meniere’s Disease
Do you often have sensation of spinning or swaying, dizziness, fullness in the ear along with tinnitus and sensorineural hearing loss? Then maybe you are suffering from Meniere’s disease. The disorder is caused by an increase in volume and pressure of the fluid contained in the membranous labyrinth of the inner ear which also results to nausea and vomiting and tinnitus.
Until today, the cause of the Meniere’s disease is still unknown. There are presumptions that the disease is associated with abnormal flow of blood and fluids in the system, allergies, viral infection and other health problems. Several factors are found to activate Meniere’s disease including stress, fatigue, over work, emotional and physical stress, pressure changes, classified foods, and too much salt in the diet.
While I’m writing this article, I found out that frequent attack of Meniere’s disease is awful. It causes cochlear damage and kills the hair cells in the inner ear which performs a vital role in hearing. The hair cell cells are responsible for translating the sound into electric signals that nerves transmit to the brain. Once the hair cells are damaged, it can no longer be repaired.
While there are ongoing researches on the Meniere’s disease, there is still no cure developed for the disorder. There are medical and invasive surgical procedures that are being attempted but most of the attempts ended vain. Some of patients who prefer natural treatments which include change in lifestyle and diet have helped in reduction of Meniere’s disease attacks as well as tinnitus.
There are also Meniere’s disease remedies and natural vertigo relief treatments in line with T-gone remedies to cure tinnitus. The remedies are homeopathic preparation created to heal the body from within. It is also a multifaceted approach since the causes of the ringing sensation are numerous such as vertigo, and cochlear damage.
