One of the most common cases of tinnitus is ear infection causing ringing in ears. Before you try to look for some ears ringing remedy, it is important to know that there are things that you can do to avoid acquiring ear infection. Some of them are listed below.

• Clean your ears regularly – one of the most ideal ways to clean your ears is to use tissue paper. You can roll the tissue paper in your fingers and use them to clean your ears. Avoid using Q-tips because they may damage your eardrums.

• Don’t let water enter your ear – this is actually one of the most common causes of ear infection. As much as you can, be very careful when you engage in activities that may result for some amount of water to enter your ears such as swimming. Ear plugs can help you in a way that they can prevent water to enter your ears. So, make sure to use one if you swim.

• Wear ear protection – this is very important for those who are staying in places with windy weather conditions. A huge amount of air inside the ears can also cause ear infections. Try to wear ear protection like ear muffs. You can also use hats with ear flaps or scarf to protect your ears and to avoid acquiring other ear problems such as ringing of the ears.
