Our ears are certainly susceptible to different kinds of hearing impairments. That is why it is imperative for us to take good care of them. Unfortunately, not all of us are aware of the things that can be destructive to our ears so we end up doing them and harming our hearing. Some of these diseases and ear conditions are listed below:

• Hearing Loss – hearing loss is dubbed as a disease for aged people however anyone can actually acquire it regardless of age or gender. One of the most common causes of hearing loss is the exposure to loud noises. Almost any kind of noise can affect our ears but those that are very loud such as the sound of gunfire or a jet engine can be very damaging to our hearing.

• Tinnitus – this ear condition is commonly known as ringing in the ears and is not necessarily a disease but only a symptom of an underlying medical condition. It is normally manifested by a ringing, buzzing, clicking, hissing, chirping or roaring noise in one or both ears. Some of the causes of tinnitus are hearing loss, stress, meniere’s disease, high blood pressure and many others.

• Ear infection – this basically a very common ear problem which is usually caused by a bacteria or virus that enters the middle ear. It is very important to be very careful when you engage in activities that can make your ears vulnerable to infection such as swimming.

These are just some of the ear conditions that can make your life miserable. Before you try to find a cure for tinnitus or for any of these ear conditions, try to take the right precautions to avoid them. The wellness of your ears still lies in your hands therefore by all means, take care of your ears.
