Cure for Meniere’s Disease

By julius On December 8, 2008 Under Tinnitus Articles

Meniere’s disease is a bodily disorder wherein the inner ear of a person is damaged. This causes abnormal sensations to a person that leads one to think and feel that the world around him is spinning. This sensation of a spinning motion is also referred to as vertigo.

People in the age range of 40 to 50 are much more likely to develop these kinds of disease. They are more vulnerable as compared to other people of different age groups.

Aside from the experience and sensation of having to feel that the world is spinning, there are also other symptoms that characterize Meniere’s disease. One of which is the experience of hearing loss usually in one ear. Having that sensation of a fullness or pressure inside the ear or having to hear a ringing sound are the much more obvious signs of the disease. All these characteristics that involve the ear are collectively called as tinnitus.

Tinnitus is a hearing disorder. As we have mentioned early, hearing loss, pressure or fullness in the ear and hearing different ringing sounds in the ear are all characteristics of tinnitus. Studies and research have shown that as of now, there has not yet been a tinnitus treatment that is developed. There is no proven cure of such disorder. However, there are many other remedies that can be considered in order to help relieve the stress and discomfort tinnitus brings.

Many homeopathic tinnitus treatments can also be used as a remedy for Meniere’s disease. Since these homeopathic treatments come in various kinds, there are those that are remedies for tinnitus but have many other symptoms like vertigo and nausea. Bringing it all together, such symptoms bring out Meniere’s disease.

Just like tinnitus, there is no known cure for Meniere’s disease as of the moment. However, there are a several ways or strategies on how to manage some of the symptoms. Seeking medical help or advice from a specialist in this field would be a safer bet rather than taking on self diagnosis through second hand information. Although there are many medications available for Meniere’s disease, asking for the correct prescription from a reliable doctor would be much better.

There is no known cure for Meniere’s Disease, partly because it s not a disease as such, but rather an idiopathic condition. meaning hey don’t know why it is happening. But lifestyle changes and the best nutrition has shown that the symptoms can be kept at bay.
