Can you have pressure in your ears that can cause tinnitus?
I seem to have two types of symptoms of tinnitus. I do take regular vitamins. So what next? Possible ear specialist in Arizona?

I have had tinnitus for 4 years. I have tried acupuncture once (a week ago) but my tinnitus got worse……:-(. Should i stop this treatment or is this a normal effect that will disappear? I have planed 7-10 acupuncture treatments but I’m confused, and affraid, if it will affect my tinnitus negative?

Best Regards

I have had tinnitus now going on 4 years and tried the T-Gone type 4 regular for 3months.
Not being familiar with the different causes is one of the problems when selecting the type required, ie Noise damage/Trauma or Stress etc I found difficult. I can’t be sure the cause but thought it could have started shortly after taking medications.
I will be trying the extra strength potency which Elllen recomended when it arrives.
Hope to be hearing less noise.
Regards
Phil

Dear Ellen

I am now into my second month of T-Gone remedies: the Sinus and the Noise. So far, nothing at all has changed with the Tinnitus I experience. I actually thought in an earlier discussion with you that I should have used the Stress, not the Noise. Any thoughts?

I went to a local Tinnitus seminar given by a hearing center. They essential said nothing could be done except the possibility of white noise and white noise type ear devices suited to a person’s specific Tinnitus sound range, or something like that. I mentioned T-Gone remedies and they pretty much very politely told me that I was wasting my money. Just thought I’d mention what you might already suspect about hearing centers and what they say they offer. They did talk about other aids like diet and meditation and counseling. Any thoughts?

My Doctor is an American MD, but he is also a certified British Homeopathic Doctor with other high certifications and credentials for Homeopathy. He seemed curious to know why the Noise remedy was so high, 3X and 6X, which he says is not “purist homeopathy,” and why the Sinus remedy is so low, 200C. He says that so low, it’s virtually undetectable if analyzed. I said, is it a placebo? And he said, “Not exactly, it depends on how much you believe in the efficacy of homeopathy.” Any thoughts?

Do you know if using an electric toothbrush can exacerbate tinnitus?

Thanks,

Peter

@Peter Grahame – Actually homeopathy works in reverse to standard medicine. The higher the number (such as 200C) the more it has been diluted, but the stronger the formulation.

A 200C remedy is this a more potent remedy than a 3X remey. You can read more about it here http://www.t-gone.com/homeopathy.htm under the heading The lesser the remedy, the greater the effect.

To answer your question about which remedy to take, stress or cochlear damage, it is obviously very important to take the correct remedy. What most people do if they have doubts, is to take BOTH remedies in conjunction with each other.

This combination is sold at a substantial discount. More info on that here http://www.t-gone.com/tinnitus/noise-tinnitus-special-90.htm
