Tinnitus Symptoms And A Cure

U2 Concert In South Africa

If you are experiencing ringing noises in your ears, or possibly hearing hissing, roaring or whistling noises you have tinnitus. This often happens as a result attending a noisy concert, after you have been clubbing or spent a night in a noisy pub. Those noises are normally temporary in nature, lasting for a few hours or at worst, a couple of days.

If the noises persist however, in other words the do not go away, this means that you have tinnitus. This is generally accompanied by hearing loss in the higher frequencies.

At this stage there is no cure for tinnitus.

Essentially this is because of the fact that tinnitus is not really a sickness. It is caused as a result of another different condition which is resulting in the tinnitus.
It could be caused by exposure to loud noise, a blow to the head, stress, sinus conditions and a host of other conditions.
It can thus be termed a side effect of the underlying condition and it is that condition that needs to be treated.
