This could have been the demise of the great Shatner “Tinnitus” by the way do you even know what that is?

I can remember growing up watching the Star Trek movies with my dad and seeing Shatner in those great movies. To think that something that brought so many people joy could have been the cause of his demise. I read that tinnitus afflicts about 6 percent of the population. Some have reported it to be intermittent which I cant see being any better, a constant noise that persists throughout the day and even night. Tinnitus can actually be split into two types objective and subjective objective is the actual doctor can hear the noise also. Subjective is in the ear of the beholder. Some of the tinnitus treatment include therapy some doctors have recommended niacin for treatment but there is no fix all for tinnitus relief. There is yet a cure for tinnitus and there aren’t much of an option for the treatments and in some cases is accompanied by loss of hearing. He said that he “contemplated suicide” it almost sounds like the plot of one of the episodes on Star Trek that he was all so famous for. Hearing sound like that continually without relief could drive someone insane. I am glad that he did not though he would have been missed sorely. He is a great actor and we all feel for his infirmity. I am glad to hear that he has had some relief with the retraining of his brain.
