Tinnitus Questions – Video Series Episode#1

By John On August 20, 2009 Under Featured Post, Tinnitus Videos

Firstly I want to thank all of you we have received tons of really good questions and we plan to answer all the questions in future episodes so keep watching and to celebrate we are going to be having a Huge SALE next week so keep your eyes peeled!!!

OK so let’s get started 1st question:

1.Question #1:Is it really possible to get rid of the noise or at least dimmish it?
A: Yes, it is most certainly possible to diminish the volume and intensity of one’s tinnitus to such a degree that it really is no longer a major factor in your daily life.
2.Question #2: Why does aerobic and weight lifting exercise reduce or even stop the ringing?
A: Physical exercise increases the blood flow throughout the body and the chemicals and hormones that are released in the brain through exercise improves mental and emotional health.
3.Question #3: Aside from controling levels of noise, are there ways to protect it from getting worse over time?
A: It is very important to try and keep stress and anxiety at a minimum, get enough rest and have a healthy diet.

OK well that’s all for this weeks episode BUT remember please leave your comments and post your thoughts below…

I, too am nearing the end of 4-6 bottles of T-gone and have noticed some change; but not completely gone. The noise seems more prominent at night. I even take another type of Ear Care that has Inositol in it. I take vit. B and B-12 too.

Hi Ellen and John and Alexis -

I’m coming up to a year of using your type 4 remedy. I needed a longer program for I have a more sever case of tinnitus. Your remedy has helped me. I have many quieter days with almost no noises. My now louder days are what I used to say were quiet days.

Ellen says we have to be patient, persistent, and positive. She’s right!

I HAVE HAD TINNITUS SINCE 1962 CAUSED BY AN EXPLOSION IN MILITARY ACTION. I IMMEDIATELY HEARD AN ECHO OF ALL THINGS AUDIBLE. THIS LASTED FOR TWO DAYS, THE RINGING ENSUED LATER. HOWEVER THE WORST CONDITON OF TINNITUS BEGAN AFTER CEMA THERAPY TREATMENT IN ‘96.THE NOISE AND PSYCHOSOMATIC SIDE EFFECTS ARE STRONG ENOUGH TO MAKE ME DISFUNCTIONAL. I HAVE BEEN TO ENGLAND TWICE, MUNICH AND AUSTRIA FOR TREATMENT BUT NOTHING HELPS.EXERCISE INCREASES THE NOISE. ACCORDING TO A TOP TINNITUS SPECIALIST IN LONDON, THE DAMAGE IS SITUATED IN THE CONDUCTOR BETWEEN THE BRAIN AND THE INNER EAR. EXERCISE , STRESS AND LOUD NOISES CAN AMPLIFY THE NOISE AND MAKE ME AGGRESSIVE. THE ONLY DRUG THAT HELPS ME TEMPORARILY IS PROXOL PAIN KILLER.

hello…i have suffered with tinnitis..for over 30 years both ears ..lots of times it would be so loud i would have to pray and ask God to help me get thru the ringing and negative emotions that accompany it..and some how He helped me..the t-gone..type 4 ..has helped me also..i\’am a night person seldom getting to bed before mid-nite,,i have found if i take melatonin, and get to bed around 10pm.before 12pm anyway.take t-gone and pray..the ringing almost dissappears..at times i\’am a muscian also and even though i wear ear plugs the music re-starts the ringing louder..most of the time after it has almost quit..this brought me to a cross road..quit music..or try to balance it some how ..if i quit ..theres this intense music emotion inside me to express itself..its like i have put it in jail and its sadly pleading to get out and play and sing..so i have tried to balance this i have stopped practicing as much..you can make it!!!……i thank.. GOD IN JESUS NAME WHEN I CALLED FOR HIS HELP HE COMES THRU AND FOR T-GONE AND THE SLEEP DISCOVERY..AND I\’AM EXPECTING A MIRICLE HEALING..FOR MYSELF AND ALL OF YOU WHO ARE SUFFERING

My tinnitis began last August 2008, possibly from a radiator hose exploding in my vehicle. At least the sound began about the same time. May of this year, 2009, I went to an ear physician. He did many tests and sent me for a carotid artery check. The end result seemed to indicate tinnitis. I do not medicate well so I have not considered that to be an option. I do however work with holistic methods of wellness. I have found a couple of foods to be beneficial…blueberries, and chocolate baking chips. It is pretty consistent that within an hour of ingesting either, or both of these foods, there is a noise reduction. Also every so often a Q-tip dipped in peroxide and swabbing inside the ear canal has been helpful. So far these things have offered some relief. Thank you for this forum, it is greatly appreciated.

i have been having tinnitus for one month now; at the beginning it was a very powerful plane engine like noise in my right ear.. now it is negligible but it can come back if i turn the music loud enough…just listened to kid rock-so hott at a very loud noise level on my speakers and my left ear was doing its best to keep up… this is certainly no good remedy for this problem… but what should i do when pulsating tinnitus comes up? i just got rid of it (hopefully for a long time) 3 days ago and nobody quite told me why i had it.. the only thing i know is that my slightly perforated right eardrum was healthy and that my audio tests indicated that there was no nerve damage…
to all the sufferers out there… listen to music at moderate levels…and if it is at very loud levels… just for 10 minutes or so… keep those ear speakers at bay and try to wear ear protection if it’s possible

I have suffered from Tinnitus for many years. About a year ago I found this website and have had one bottle of T-Gone No 4 sent to me in N.Z. Because of the huge cost by the time I received it and only the one bottle I decided it was not going to be something I could afford to keep up.

I would imagine that the product could work eventually but I am not prepared to keep buying it. The noise drives me crazy and trying to sleep has at times been impossible. As a Christian I pray and cry when it is really bad and somehow I get to sleep.

Diet is definately involved. Stress too. Being a cancer survivor for nearly 20 years I am on an oncology drug and have to take it. I also have had a lot of trauma and stress over the years. But I must say that I am managing this area much better and I can sympathize with all of you sufferers. I only wish that the treatment was closer for I would give it a good go!! In the meantime I have a busy life but exercise by walking and swimming as much as possible. I do a lot of driving in and out from my home – I think this winds it up. Also going to concerts or functions with a lot of talk is ghastly by the time I get home and hop into bed.

Thanks to you all for your feedback. Good luck. I may consider ordering more tables but at the moment – just put up with it. Interesting about blueberries! Anything is worth a try isn\’t it. I think I eat too many sugary things.

Greeting to all,

Two years ago while in the hospital taking a treatment for a whiplash (stretching my neck) that I had suffered in a car accident four weeks prior to the commencing of the treatment, I started to have mile ringing in my right ear. Within three days after in a scale from one to ten the ringing noise level in my estimation topped 110. For the following 40 days and nights, it was unbearable, suicidal as nothing could stop the ringing.

One day in desperation I took a hot shower, and adjusted the shower head to a strong spray and let it for almost 30 minutes massage my neck. A miracle happened. As soon as I got out of the shower the ringing went completely away, and for the next three weeks I was free of any ringing in my ear. But, they came back as my neck continued to give me problems.

For the following two years after four months of hospital physical therapy, three months of chiropractic treatment, three months of acupuncture treatment in my neck, one eupatorium (kind of steroid shot) in my spine, and two shots in my left arm, the pain radiated to my left arm, I was able to reduce the ringing sometimes as much as 90%, unnoticeable, really not an issue, but still there.

My question is this? I wrote to Ellen and I shared some of my experiences, and I asked the question, could this ringing be the result of my neck injury? I regret that to this day I have not received a direct response to my question.

At any rate, this ringing gave me the opportunity to experience many treatments on my own as I am determined to get to the bottom of this.

By the way, I am 57 years old, and in spite of what I went through, I have not let this take a toll of my life. I love exercising (running) and during this period with the ringing I was able to continue enjoy my sports, especially running (over 100 marathons) and since I have completed 5 marathons, and do long runs weekly.

I learned to be strong, learned to handled it, think positive, focus, cope with it, ignore it, appreciate more things in life, and to be truthful sometimes when it goes away, I might sound crazy, but somehow I miss it.

In closing, life goes on, and I won’t let it in any way to distract me of getting the most out of life……by the way in spite what I went through, I still feel that I am in the best shape of my life. I feel I am living my mid 30’s, and therefore, I won’t budge to the ringing.

Eventually, I’ll defeat the sound, and till then I will be waiting a response from Ellen.

I developed Tinnitus whilst taking an antibiotic called Roxythromycin about 2 years ago. What would you suggest would be best for me to take given my circumstances (damage not caused by noise).
Thanks, Geoff

Ellen:
You have been trying the T-gon for stress related and damage ear for 5 weeks. Not much of any change. I assume it is still too early until about the 10th week which we are committed to do. Any other thoughts or suggestions.

Dear Sir:
In short, I can say that even if I\’ve been taking T-Gone( strength 4 noise induced and strength 7 stress, trauma)for over 4 months now, I still do not feel any noticeable change in my tinnitus symptom. My symptom, which I believe is in a very severe stage, certainly hasn\’t improved. I have had it for over 10 years.
I would need new type of advice of how to cope with it such as developing a better habit. Horace

at least two years ago a took a 3 month treatment type 4 an 7 , no change occured so I stopped taking the remedy. My question is: I\’ve had a septoplasty 2001, ( to reposition the centre part of my noise wich was obstructing my air way.
Could this have anything to do because it was around then that the continual ringing in my ears started and has since then never stopped. I just do not want to spend money on the wrong treatment.

thanks, Janet

For Geoff Dunbar

Often the tinnitus that develops after taking an ant-biotic such as Roxythromycin is due to the original condition one took the medications for. It is also of course very possible the the Roxythromycin was responsible for the cochlear damage wchich is now causing your tinnitus. In any event it is important to note that you should take the cochlear damage tinnitus remedy. You can purchase these at a 33% discount for the period of our sale which will end Midnight PST 27 Aug 2009. After that date you should purchase the remedies to treat your tinnitus from this link http://www.t-gone.com/noise-tinnitus.htm

comment:.. for TEDCAPS..about whip lash and tinnitus.. i remember a doctor years ago that had a call in radio talk show..a dr noel wollock ..or some name like that..he said tinnitis could be related to the 7th or 8th cranial nerve in the neck i can’t remember the exact nerve..he recommended a highly refined form of liquid calcium to cure it..also i worked with a man that was in a boating accident and injured his neck a he told me tinnitus developed after the neck injury…

I would like to know what is the point of sending back \"used and unused portions of the products\" in order to get a refund. It is my understanding that once a product like this is in the hands of the consumer, it may not be sold to another customer. Or is it sold as \"used\"?! Who would buy it under that condition? It seems to me to be simply an unnecessary burden to discourage requests for refunds!
