Ringing in the Ears Can Be a Serious Issue
Those who frequently have ringing in the ears may have a more serious issue to deal with. Sometimes ringing in the ears can be caused by a build up of ear wax. Others may actually have a disorder that is called tinnitus. Tinnitus is a ringing of the ears that is accompanied by nausea, dizziness and vertigo. Vertigo is the feeling that you are falling or that feeling you get when you look over a high ledge. It concentrates in your stomach and your head feels light. This is a serious issue and should be discussed with your doctor.
If you are not experiencing any of those more serious side effects, then you may just have an excess of wax build up in your ears. Some may want to start a journal and write down how they were feeling when the attack occurred. They may find a pattern that they can then use to figure out why the attacks are happening. If the occur when the person is under extreme stress, then getting rid of the stress is going to be vital. There is no cure for tinnitus so doing whatever is necessary to get lessen the likelihood of attacks is vital.
