Does anyone know anything about hypotonic kids and/or auditory neuropathy…or choclear implants?
my son is almost 4 & was diagnosed with hypotonia and auditory neuropathy at birth…he’s not walkin or talkin…yet & we have had the option put to us by his “ear” dr. that this choclear implant may help w/the hearing and thus…speech. but if the implant doen’t help the nerves to the inner are severed and he will lose the hearing he has…
any body have or know anyone who does have any thoughts or input…i have tons of info…i want people to talk to, not sites and pamplets
