Although anxiety to eat?
Let me say that I have an eating disorder, I have, and I am very happy with my body. I have a very irrational fear of choking while eating, and a couple of years ago was so bad that was difficult to drink, even water. I had a panic attack in the toilets of a restaurant where I love food, but fear and anxiety by eating left me unable to enjoy my food, I could not eat. After the panic attack, I found my concern was not as bad as before. I started eating easier, but it was still difficult. I began to get this way again, but it's worse now. I can hardly breathe, I feel that my hands do not work properly in my head, I think I will have a crisis. These events occur in the presence of strangers at random, usually when I'm about to eat or eat. I do not know what to do. I am not sure, but I feel like the only person who can help me would be a therapist or psychologist … What should I do?
Wow, when you hear is an echo of myself. I had a similar experience last year (I have a generalized anxiety disorder / Panic attacks), I learned a lot of patience and the only way to fight against fear is to stop. You should continue to eat and say you know why? I've eaten all my life and I have not drowned. My body does not work, I take my food and I will not leave a little fear stop me stupid! I learned from my psychologist if they continue to fight, keep coming. You must enable care to be there and no more than that. Trust me the more food you can eat less and to overcome the stress of meal will be. It will be easier. I promise. Hold on!
