Tinnitus Questions – Video Series Episode #2

By John On August 28, 2009 7 Comments

Episode #2 so let’s get started 1st question:

1.Question #1: How do supplements ease the distress of tinnitus? I am skeptical.

A: These T-Gone tinnitus relief homeopathic treatments are very effective as they do not just treat the symptoms of tinnitus but actually deal with and treat the root cause and this is why they are so effective in diminishing tinnitus and produce such excellent results.

2.Question #2: What determine’s the different sounds?

A: The different sounds are determined by the root cause of one’s tinnitus for example exposure to loud noise which causes cochlear damage – the noises most common to this particular type of tinnitus are Ringing, Chirping sounds, Sounds like cicada’s or crickets on a warm summer evening. A High frequency noise similar to that of a computer monitor.

3.Question #3: Would wearing a hearing aid help?

A: This is something that is very much a personal and individual choice as Some people find that hearing aids can help to mask the tinnitus to a certain degree and then others find it aggravates their tinnitus.

OK well that’s all for this weeks episode BUT remember please leave your comments and post your thoughts below…

Tinnitus From Working Construction

By John On August 27, 2009 No Comments

Dear Ellen,

I am Tan Hock Kiat, and I have just placed an order for 90 days medication.  I am 65 now and have been in the construction work all my life from 20s until 50s, working in field construction with diesel engine driven welding machines running the whole day for welding work, and grinding of steel plates and pipes.  I did not have any knowledge or experience with tinnitus before until just about last birthday, so I must have it for nearly one year.  My hearing is very sensitive to high pitched noise especially like grinding work.  I can hear it from far away and although in the last close to ten years I have been working in an office, I can still hear the grinding work being carried out by workers on the factory floor one storey below. Most of the time, in the office, I have no trouble with my tinnitus as I have my work to concentrate on.  It is the moments when I am in bed, and waiting to sleep off that I have the tinnitus again, but I pray to God through Lord Jesus for help to sleep. I fall asleep for a couple of hours, look at the clock, then sleep off again after a short while.

In my earlier years, even now, I would have my ear wax removed once in a couple of months  by some metal pins and pincers, with my wife’s help in the later year.

I think that my tinnitus is caused by exposure to noise  which led to cochlear damage and damaged nerve endings in my inner ear, but I am not sure. I am not hear of hearing or anything like that.  Anyway, I am not sure how many tablets are in the small bottle for the 90 day supply that I ordered.  You mentioned to take 2 tablets twice a day, put under the tongue for at least a minute.  How long before the tablets dissolve under the tongue ? Anyway, I am going to give it a chance to prove itself.

I would certainly agree with you that your tinnitus is noise induced. A 90 day supply as you ordered is in fact 3 bottles and each bottle has 120 tablets. They are small tablets that you pop under the tongue and they will disolve in about 40 seconds normally.

Tough Attitude in Tough Times

By John On August 10, 2009 No Comments

I will call tomorrow.

I’ve had the tinnitus for 8 years now. I live a very healthy life style. No high blood pressure, no diabetes. Management weight. No exposure to loud noises. I had a scan of the carotid arteries – no blockages. No ear infections. No wax buildup. ENT could find nothing – and no loss of hearing. I was handed the brochure. I do take Tegretol – can this medication be related to the ringing?

The life changing events related to stress-

Crime: Was stabbed at work by an escaped convict 23 years ago. The very real belief I was not going to survive that evening. The ensuing court case, workman’s comp. Unemployment.
A year ago, on the anniversary of this crime, my Aunt and Uncle from South Africa were harmed in a similar crime and my cousins turned to me for emotional support and to contact my Dad for them. My uncle died 6 months later due to the complications of his injuries.

My parents (live in FL, I live in MI): 11 years of my mom with Alzheimers.. My Mom has not remembered my brothers and I for over 4 years. Having to help my parents with a sweepstakes scam 2 years ago – they have given approximately 80,000 to the scams – and to this day my Dad still partitipates to a much smaller degree. My Mom is still alive. My Dad had to put her in care a year ago as he could not longer handle the incontinence. The market crashing and destroying what little savings they had left. My brother refusing to work and living off my parents. The younger brother is the one my parents added to their accounts. My older borther refuses to assist in any way.

Currently I work for a bank in computer programming. My husband retired so I get to deal with his boredom when I come home. The complaints about how if I work late I make him wait for some event. He is several years older than I. My husband maintians few friendships.

Layoff stories: About the time the tinnitus began might have been with my first layoff by Spartan stores after 13 years of employment. Then worked as a temporary worker for 4 years. Living in Michigan with the continued heart renching stories concerning work, reposessions due to loss of employement, friends having the leave Michigan.

Family life: We have no family here. I have 4 stepkids and 6 grandchilden. They pretty much maintain contact with their Mom and minimal contact with us – as she lives in CA -exciting and Michigan is where you grow corn – boring,,,,,

The odd thing is I am grateful for the job I have (how many computer jobs in this area have been lost to positions in India). Michigan is a beautiful state. I love the winter and the seasons. My husband and I have been working hard to recover our investments. I have a great Australian Shepherd dog. We have become involved in a church. And I breed daylilies – to see the new and different blossoms makes my day. My oldest stepdaughter – who we raised from 13 to 19 thinks of us – and does invite us to come visit.

I have started the treatment for Stress.

Mari

Hiya Mari,

So glad to hear from you. I salute you because of your positive attitude! Keep it up and your tinnitus will hopefully soon be a thing of the past.

Regards,

John

Ordering Tinnitus Remedies

By John On August 10, 2009 No Comments

Hello John

Please forgive me for not corresponding before this but while I jumped onto your list quite some time ago, I never seem to have enough hours left in the day to respond.

However, quiet time tonight so here goes.

I have had the “finger around a wine glass” noise in one ear for quite some time.  However, and I don’t know how realistic this is, but I have, for some 5-6 years, been on Zopiclone for insomnia.  Last December 31, though, I decided that enough was enough.   I went cold turkey and have not had a pill since.   Now, I don’t know if there is a connection here, but the ringing in my ears is mostly gone….Unbelievable as it may seem.

Anyway, I am quite happy to remain on your site, and looking at whatever emails my time spares.   The other reason why I did not respond and buy anything was that I have always been dubious about posting my Mastercard details over the web… so, that held me back too.

Anyway, I just wanted to touch base with you and thank you for what I still consider support, even though I have not tried your products yet.   Maybe I still will one day, but I do need to be confident about money and the web.   Also, we do not have a lot of money to spare as we are essentially retired and on Government superannuation.

Thank you again John, and your wife too, who sometimes writes.

 Cheers
Trish

Hi Trish,

With regard to the security of the site there are no information passed to us. All information is sent directly to the credit card verification system via secure 128 bit SSL security so you can rest easy on that score.

Many people feel more comfortable by giving us the order on the phone which completely cuts out the internet process. If you would prefer that option simply call Ellen toll free on 800 314 2910.

Hope this helps! :)

Cicada Like Tinnitus Noises

By John On August 10, 2009 No Comments

Hi John,
It’s a bit strange doing things this way and one does get wary of responding to things on the internet. The tinnitis I experience is quite low grade, in the left ear and doesn’t bother me except that I know it shouldn’t really be there. It is like a lovely walk in the mountains when the ciccadas are singing softly. But I must admit that I would be quite novel to experience silence.
I thought that once the damage is done it wasn’t possible. I had dental surgery three years ago, then shortly after that was in New Zealand in the mountain and very close to a massive blast when they were blasting rock. The past two years have been very stressful. Perhaps I should try the two undermentioned remedies. I have always preferred to use natural remedies and have never used anything for tinnitus.

Is there not something available in South Africa?
Have a good day
Cheryl.

Hi Cheryl,

As a matter of fact our remedies were developed in South Africa by a renowned homeopath Dr Leslie Brom. He is unfortunatly no longer with us having passed away several years ago. That would have been the  ideal solution for you.

The cicada like noises you are experiencing indicate cochlear damage related tinnitus. The tinnitus was probably triggered by the stress you mention you have been under over a two year period.

You best bet would indeed be to take the noise induced tinnitus remedy in conjunction with the stress related tinnitus remedy. In fact this combination is the exact same remedies my wife Ellen took with great success.

You will find an option on the order page to order the Noise Tinnitus Remedies which you can use. You will be offered the stress tinnitus remedy at a substantial discount. Unfortunately they are not available for sale in South Africa and you should select the Fedex shipping method when ordering as the auhorities always confiscate the remedies when we use the postal service. It matters not that the remedies are in fact manufactured to the highest standards at an FDA approved facility….

You can access the information and order page directly from the left menu under the heading Tinnitus Remedies.

Hope this helps!

John Currie
