What is the cause of my tinnitus?
I have a hissing in the right ear and sometimes a high pitched hum as well as hearing loss. I have also now noticed a hum in the left ear as well although not as bad as the right.
I’m not sure of the main reason I have tinnitus as
a) I play drums in a few bands and at Church.
b) i have suffered anxiety and panic attacks as well as feeling depressed, and am now on anti depressants.
c) i have felt pressure on my ear drums on and off over the last 3 odd years.
I have just had an MRI scan which the ENT specialist says shows the nerves to look normal and just said i had to live with the noise as it is most likely bone orientated?..
ie he doesnt know!!!

Many tinnitus sufferers have quickly reduced their tinnitus levels by taking 2 of our most popular but more importantly, successful tinnitus treatments in combination.
The tinnitus from exposure to noise and the stress tinnitus combination of ear ringing relief remedies are unmistakably a very potent ear ringing relief system where the causes of your tinnitus could well be noise related cochlea damage tinnitis as well as stress.
This combination of tinnitus formulas has helped many who have been exposed to noise as well as primary stress such as all those who work in the music industry or military people.
You seem to fit into that category Steve.
Here is some additional info on the two tinnitus types.
Noise induced tinnitus
Most folk don’t know that there are millions of dainty nerve cells deep inside the ear that get influenced by the enormous pressures of waves of sound.
As a noise is noticed by your ears and the cilia (little hairs) wave around, signals are discharged through the auditory nerve that your brain picks up and tells you you’ve just heard a sound.
When this excitation then causes movement of those microscopic hairs, which is similar a field of wheat on a farm moving in concert with the breeze.
All of those tiny hairs and these minute nerve cells are easy to damage when you expose yourself to loud noise. The cochlear damage is all the more worse if you listen to your mp3 player at loud volumes for long periods of time.
These sensitive organs can also be damaged from a severe blow to the head. One’s tiny hairs often get bent out of shape or even break and then randomly send electrical impulses straight to the brain which is interpreted as a sound, although there is no sound present.
Cochlear damage tinnitus resulting in to a chirping in the ears can also be caused by earwax treatments gone wrong, hopi ear candling, swimming pool accidents, playing sports, surgery to the head and can also be caused by middle ear infections.
Loss of hearing is definitely irreparable but our tinnitus remedies have been very successful at dramatically and permanently lowering the ear ringing levels from a damaged cohlea.
Stress Tinnitus
Stress, trauma and despondency are often the causes of ear ringing.
The hypothalamus and related structures in the brain, such as the pons, the pituitary fossa, the basal cisterns, the corpus callosum, the brain stem have a role to play with regard to this type of tinnitus.
The hypothalamus is a primitive section of the brain that can be found immediately below the third ventricle. The hypothalamusadministers many vital bodily functions, including the pituitary gland, which in turn has to look after the endocrine organs, and the autonomic nervous system.
The hypothalamus, and some other parts of the brain under the control of the hypothalamus, are primarily responsible for the production of essential nutrients that are critical for normal functioning of the body.
The hypothalamus is severely influenced by secondary shock, depression, and long continued stress. If you are subjected to stress over a long time period those basic chemical compounds are not being produced as normal and a hissing in the ears is the result.
The normal sounds experienced with stress related tinnitus are ear piercing ear ringing, frictional rustling, whooshing, and roaring waterfall like sounds
Our stress tinnitus medication works by invigorating the Hypothalmus to once again start producing those important nutrients your body needs to function correctly . As the chemicals slowly start entering your system the a ringing in the ears symptoms will just slowly fade away.
I hope this helps you Steve and feel free to call us on 800 3142910 if you need any additional help.

My tinnitis is a loud high pitched ringing
I have tinnitis which is a loud high pitched ringing. At times in the past when the tinnitis was very extreme I would also get a numbness extending down the left side of my face to the lips. At these times the noise was like a large vacume system with the volume going up and down. At times if I get over tired I get sudden loud noises which will actually cause me to flinch.
During my life I have morked as a mechanic where I was exposed to very high noise as well as been an entenpreneur with the high stress involved in starting businesses.
I have had a broken nose and have greatly reduced breathing capacity through my nose.
I have had ear and inner ear infections as well as bronchitis and pheumonia which have been treated with antibiotics, In 1994 I really burned out and started having panic attacks, etc. which resulted in being anti-depressants which I have now weened myself off after 12 years.
During that 12 years I was dizzy a lot of the time. At times while walking I would feel like I was walking on a side hill or would feel like I was falling sideways. These symptoms seem to have pretty much dissapeared since I quit the antidepressants.
Could you please recommend which of your products i should order as I seem to need the full range.
Bob
Hello Bob, You in fact are experiencing the classic symptoms of tinnitis resulting from cochlea damage. Thid type of tinnitis occurs when one has been subjected to prolonged loude noises (which you have), a sudden blow to the head (a broken nose will qualify) and inner ear infections (once again that’s you)
So without making lite of the situation, it is almost 100% certain that the cause of your tinnitis in indeed a damaged cochlea, probably in both ears and that the stress of running your own business was an aggravating factor, but not the root cause of your tinnitis,
Congratulations on weening yourslef off the anti depressants by the way, that is a positive step and shoes that you have a strong mind.
You WILL be able to beat the tinnitis, or at the very least, drastically reduce the levels of the ear ringing, but it well take persistence and perseverance on your part.
I would recommend that you would need to order the Extra Strength Type 4 Tinnitus Treatments and that you would need to be on the treatments for at least 12 weeks. Just click on the link.
Remember Bob, these are homeopathic tinnitus remedies that do need time to work and heal your body from within.
We are also here to help you every step of the way and you can call us anytime on (315) 849-2012 if you need some inspiration or advice.
Tinnitus from stress overload
I have felt the stress overload coming for the last 2-3 years.
I’m 59 years old. While in school training for a new career, my inlaws developed serious health problems and I was forced to suddenly leave school (I was just a month away from completing my courses!). We relocated them from out of town so they would be nearby us.
For the last two years I have been managing their lives in and out of hospitals and nursing homes…my father-in-law has since passed away, and my mother-in-law continues to deteriorate.
We had also planned a move, with her, out of state…now trying to fix our home to sell, manager her affairs, find appropriate care and financial support for her. My husband just lost eyesight in one eye after two surgeries, and the other eye is diminished.
He is now on disability and can no longer drive. I work as a courier, driving 150-200 miles each day. Etc., etc. I’ve noticed very slightly diminished hearing in one ear for at least a year or two, which may just be age-related.
My hearing overall is quite good. But in the last few weeks I’ve developed [tag-tec]tinnitus[/tag-tec]…I think I’m hearing it only in one ear, the ear with the diminished hearing, but it’s hard to tell. My blood pressure, which has always been very low, also seems to have creeped up, but not especially high.
Overall, I think I probably need the #4 tinnitus remedy, but I’m unsure if I should also take the remedy for nerve damage? And I’m also unclear about taking the regular strength remedy versus the extra strength?
I appreciate any help you can give me… I’m not being driven completely crazy…yet…but I’m hoping to get rid of this annoyance soon, and hopefully prevent it from getting any worse! And anything this will help me cope with stress will be a Godsend!
Thanks so much, Lynne
Hello Lynne, My dear you have my sympathy what with all the issues you have been trying to cope with! I have found that exposure to long continued stress and traumatic life events very often lead to tinnitus.
In fact, this was how my wife Ellen first started with her tinnitus problems. What actually happens is that a part of the brain known as the hypothalamus stops producing certain essential trace elements that your body needs to function normally.
When this happens all sorts of side effects can occur, but [tag-ice]tinnitus[/tag-ice] is the most obvious of these.
Our type 7 tinnitus treatment remedy is specifically formulated to treat this tinnitus type and is very poplular and successful.
The stress tinnitus remedy can be ordered separately or as part of a specially reduced package which you will find by using this link. This offer is for the cochlear damage [tag-self]tinnitus[/tag-self] treatment as well as the stress tinnitus remedy which you would then take in conjunction with each other.
By using this link you would get a 30% discount on one of the remedies.
Hope this helps Lynne!

Tinnitus – what is the cause of my tinnitus
I am not sure of the root cause of my tinnitus; I believe it could be several factors. I recently graduated from college. During this period I was under a lot of pressure, and facing uncertainty about my future. It was a couple of weeks after graduation that my tinnitus started.
On visiting the doctor, she told me to inhale olbas (eucalyptus) oil in hot water to drain some of the mucus in my middle ear. This improved my hearing, but did not improve my [tag]tinnitus[/tag].
About two years ago I also suffered a 2 week bout of tinnitus, at the time I believed it was due to visiting a loud nightclub, as the onset began the following morning. The tinnitus fortunately disappeared suddenly after two weeks- and ever since then I have worn ear plugs when going into loud environments.
I cannot identify a cause of sonic-trauma that could have triggered this second bout of tinnitus, but I cannot be 100% sure.
To describe the noise I experience: A faint, but full rining sound– much like one experiences when moving suddenly from a noisy environment into a quiet one.
Although the sound engulfs others in a quiet environment medium to loud bustle (such as being outdoors) masks is quite effectively. As a result I am only really aware of my [tag]tinnitus[/tag] in relatively quiet situations— however, this is still a problem for me!
So, in conclusion, I would say that my tinnitus could be caused by sound-trauma, and triggered by stress/sinus problems or even be related to high blood pressure (I happen to have quite high blood pressure and a high resting heart rate despite exercising regularily and keeping a healthy diet) Prior to the onset of this second bout of tinnitus, I ceased exercising due to pressures from college. Could this have been a factor?
I recently visited a homeopath to look for a tinnitus cure, she perscribed me a remedy which was labeled “Nast–m” which has been innefective.
I also have been getting only about 4-7 hours of sleep per night for the past 2 months or so, this is not due to tinnitus, but due to staying up late using the computer. And generally not feeling sleepy, perhaps relating to stress.
My tinnitus sometimes seems to increase in volume when I yawn, or open my mouth very wide.
Once, after I ran up a flight of stairs, I noticed that my ringing was increasing and decreasing in volume in time with my rapid heart beat- could this make it blood pressure related?
Any insight you can shed on this would be most helpful.

How my tinnitus symptoms started.
I had a divorce with domestic violence and irresponsible drug addicted father that eventually almost killed our son by his dog attacking him–three and a half hours of plastic surgery that left his face a mess. This is when the tinnitus started.
I also have bipolar daughter and cps accused me of making up disorder, almost lost both kids–ended up with sole custody, dad gone to ny. I cried all the time, knew one or both would get hurt or die. Went on antidepressants and ringing started.
Went off and still there. Being refered to ent and even have eye disturbance. Sinus infections, ear infections, allergies, recovering addict, very spiritual, have four kids total and stress of money, etc. ears feel full, want to get stuff out, feels like somehting in ears, ringing terrible and getting louder, can’t sleep, lots of stress–took sleeping and stress aids and stopped because not helping.
grind teeth at night, help it is driving me crazy.
My Dear Colleen, You have really been through the wars and it is not surprising that you are suffering with tinnitus! It is obvious to me that you have been through long periods of traumatic events and that this is the ‘trigger” for your tinnitus.
You see, tinnitus is not a sickness but rather an effect caused from either long exposure to stress, anxiety, traumatic live events on the one hand or exposure to loud noises on the other.
You have probably had both but I would suggest that you most certainly need to get some of the stress tinnitus formulas as soon as possible to relieve your tinnitus.
In view of the length of time you have been subjected to this abuse I would suggest a 3 to 4 month period that you will need to be taking the [tag-ice] stress tinnitus[/tag-ice] remedies.
You can get a ton of information at this page stress tinnitus formulas, including an audio which will explain in detail how the remedies work.
Hope this helps!
John Currie
