Tinnitus and a swollen feeling in my ears

By John On October 23, 2006 No Comments

John,

At this point, in your opinion, is the fact that my ears still feel “swollen” 3 1/2 weeks after the concert a good or bad sign in terms of the potential for healing or improvement?

  • In my experience the swollen feeling would normally not last longer than a couple of days so in my opinion it is probably not a good sign.
  • Is this a normal symptom, or could there also be an infection causing or contributing to the swollen feeling? (I know the latter is remote).

  • You would not normally feel pressure of swelling if there was an infection so I doubt that is the problem.
  • The ENT I spoke with suggested that there was really nothing that could be done at this point (such as ear drops), other than avoiding loud noise. He did say that I could try taking some B-complex vitamins and avoid caffeine (the latter, he said, could worsen the [tag-tec]tinnitus[/tag-tec]), but then he added that in his opinion, I would be “wasting my money” if I invested in any homeopathic remedies.

I agree with the first part of his suggestion that ear drops will not help and that you should avoid loud noise if at all possible. With regard to the second part of his suggestion I would obviously disagree with him.

Most ENT doctors have no knowledge of homeopthy and will not recommend it, this does NOT mean that homeopathy will not help you.

Is there any actual healing that can happen in the two to three months after exposure to the loud noise? Do I have to be particularly careful to avoid [tag-ice]loud noise[/tag-ice] now? At first I was angry at myself (for not wearing earplugs at the concert), though I am become more resigned and perhaps accustomed to the reality that my hearing isn’t what it used to be.

In addition to the steady, high pitched noise, I also have the sensation that my ears are clogged, similar to the sensation we all have when we just land in an airplane, as if I need to swallow to clear it up.

  • It is indeed probable that you have lost hearing in the higher frequencies and that hearing loss is permanent. This is why you are experiencing . The sooner you try to heal the damaged nerve endings, the greater the chance you have of reducing the levels of tinnitus.
  • You indeed need to very careful now with regard to your hearing and take care to avoid situations where you could possible be exposed to loud noises.
  • Is this normal? I am afraid I may have permanently damaged or lost at least 20 percent of my hearing. Spencer

I hope this helps Spencer and if you do decide on ordering the T-Gone remedies you need to order the Cochlear Damage Tinnitus Remedy.

The tinnitus just started in my right ear.

By John On October 19, 2006 No Comments

The tinnitus really has just started in my right ear, have experienced a degree of deafness for quite a few years..I’m now 51.

I often feel ‘blocked’ in the ears (more so now) and experience ocasionally ‘pressure pain’ in both ears as if there might be a little infection. I have experienced a drumming feeling/sound whilst in the car with the windows slightly down.

As a child I suffered with hay fever up to the age of early 20′s when I realised I could do quite a few things to improve my health… and ..I did. Apparently I was known to have a constant runny nose as an infant, even now I experience a slight discharge down my right nostral that crusts (dries) throughout the day.

In my youth a also experienced middle ear infection which abscessed and burst and have a hole in my eardrum. I have experienced concussion a few times due to accidents and unfortunately have a history of being regularly hit on the head by my father up to the age of 17.

Due to my upbringing I have suffered with anxiety and panic attacks. I have lost a child. Rarely have I experienced ‘obvious” tinnitus..

I would like to nip this in the bud if possible. At present I am studying naturopathy and have an exam next week.

Hi Jane, I am really not surprised that your suffered anxiety and panic attacks with all the bumps and knocks you have had to the head.

A blow to the head can cause severe damage to the delicate inner ear structures leading to high frequency hearing loss and tinnitus. This would obviously be the root cause of your tinnitus this would most likely be triggered or aggravated by stress and or anxiety.

I also often experience a drumming feeling sensation sometimes in the car with the windows down but this is not tinnitus and you should not concern yourself with that.

That stuffy, congested feeling in the ears could be a slight case of Meniere’s disease although if you are not experiencing bouts of vertigo and nausea this is probably unlikely. I would try a low salt diet to see if this would alleviate the problem. Visit this link for low salt dietary advice

You can order the cochlear damage tinnitus remedy at this link.

I would recommend at least an 8 to 12 week supply in view of the length of time you have been suffering from cochlear damage. You will also have to take steps to prevent further damage to the cochlea occuring by avoiding exposure to loud noises.

If there is a possibility that you will be exposed to noise, get yourself some earplugs and USE them.

    Pulsatile tinnitus

By John On October 16, 2006 1 Comment

My tinnitus problem started last April after a sinus infection that settled in my left ear and I lost almost all my hearing there since. I even got a behind the ear hearing aid that really doesn’t help.

In losing my hearing I also began hearing my heart beat all the time it never stops. At times when in a noisy area it gets louder. I have had a MRI, MRA and doppler on the c/artery.

None of the tests showed any problems. The ear doctor said the reports said everything was OK no blockage of any kind and just a slight build up in the C/Artery but nothing to worry about. I take a lot of pills for heart, blood pressure, colsteral and my diebetic to boot. Is it time to cash in?

Betty, what exactly are you referring to when you ask is it time to cash in? If you mean what I think you do, then NO it is NEVER that time! There is always hope and we cann certainly help you with your tinnitus problem.

You mention that the pulsatile tinnitus started after a serious sinus infection.

That sinus infection that obviously caused the cochlear damage that lead to hearing loss and the resultant tinnitus. The reason you are experiencing pulsatile tinnitus (tinnitus which beats in time with your heart beat) is indeed most likley to be atheroma.

Atheroma is a fatty deposit in the intima (inner lining) of an artery, which can obstruct blood flow and is caused by high levels of cholesterol in the body.

I am really surprised by the statement from your ear doctor that this is nothing to worry about. High levels of cholesterol in your body is very dangerous and if the medications you are taking to control these cholesterol levels are not sufficient, you are advised to visit a dietician as soon as possible to get advice on a suitable diet to help control those cholesterol levels.

Having said all that you will remember that I mentioned earlier that your tinnitus is very likely to be caused from cochlear damage which was the result of a serious inner ear infection.

When you suffer cochlea damage, the millions of tiny hairs (known as cilia) in the inner ear are damaged and your hearing suffers as a result. These hairs get bent out of shape or even broken. What happens then is that electrical impulses are sent randomly to the brain which are interpreted as sound.

  • What this means in simple terms is that your brain receives these signals which it then interprets as sound, even though no sound is present, and that is what you are experiencing, tinnitus.
  • Our cochlear damage tinnitus remedy works to heals the damage to those tiny hairs in the inner ear.

Whilst we have had very good success in 85% of all tinnitus cases, there is unfortunately nothing that can be done regarding the lost hearing, as this is not reversible. You can however look forward to a dramatic lowering of those with a high degree of expectation.

If you go to this page > cochlear damage tinnitus remedy you will be able to discover a lot more about this tinnitus type and how we can help you. You will also be able to order the tinnitus treatment remedies from that page.

The remedies are completely natural in origin and will not interact with, or cause any interaction with the conventional medications you are taking at present.

Betty I hope this helps you and keep your chin up! You can relieve your [tag-tec tinnitus symptoms]tinnitus symptoms[/tag-tec] safely.

Help for tinnitus and ear ringing

By John On October 13, 2006 No Comments

Hell Ellen, my mom suffers from something they call nerve deafness. She had high infections in her ears as a child. I had a similar childhood with high temperatures and ear infections. At the age of 18 I was run over in a farm accident and spent 6 1/2 weeks in the hospital and another 8 weeks in rehab.

I had my pelvis crushed, both legs dislocated and since the tractor and hay wagon both ran over everything but my head, I suffered a tremendous shock to my entire system. I say all this because when you mention stress as a cause of [tag-tec]tinnitus[/tag-tec] and ear ringing I should be a prime candidate. I also recieved over 150 to 200 shots of pain killer during my time in the hospital and was in a drug induced coma for 3 of the 6 1/2 weeks. I have had allergies to milk, onions, some purfumes, lialacs, and poison ivy since that time.

My current job is that of a construction worker. I work with molds, bacterias, dust and saw dust on a regular basis. My nose and sinuses and ears feel stuffy most of the time. I have been on some of the highest doses of antibiotics when I get sick and they only seem to knock down the problem rather than take it away. I probably have a weak immune system. Along with the dusty environment I also have a loud one with power tools and occasionally a jack hammer in operation.

I do always wear foam ear plugs but still the [tag-ice]tinnitus[/tag-ice] noise is constant. The ringing is constant as well.
I notice a high pitched constant noise like that of a computer and I am very sensative to noise.
If I do not have ear plugs in at work I notice all of the sounds and scrapes of tools. The high sounds really bother me.

I have recently been told that I have a problem with the nerve core in my left arm and neck and that they want to do surgery to remove a rib that is pressing on the nerve bundle. I think that with time it will go away if my career can change. I’m working on that. Hard to change something that you have done for years.

I have had oral surgery on some teeth. I have 2 root canals and quite a bit of dental work as fillings, crowns and so forth.

I spoke with you over a year ago about these problems but we couldn’t come to a conclusion on what I should do. Whould an extra strength product work for me? Would combining 2 or more products together be effective?

Anyway, I would really like to see what we can do to solve this ear ringing problem. There are times when my kids can be talking in the same room with me and I can’t hear or understand what they are saying.

If someone is in another room I must always ask them to repeat their statment. I know that these tinnitus products can not repair hearing loss but if they can at least cut out the noise I feel like that will give me a better chance at hearing what is being said without having to compete with the noise in my head.

Please see what you think would be the most effective at the best possible cost. I am a working class man and I can’t afford to spend a fortune. I do understand that there is a real cost to everything. Please just see if there is a way to combine somethings to make them work efficiently.

Also, if I should avoid certain foods or things like that, or if there needs to be a change in how I am doing something, please let me know. I am very good at following directions and realize that I must stay the course to achieve results.

Thank you for your efforts and for your concern for me and my family.

    Hi Rick,

Firstly I would like to advise that the T-Gone Tinnitus remedies are not some magic overnight potion that will make your tinnitus vanish overnight and clear up all your hearing problems.

Being homeopathic in origin, the remedies do take time to work and in fact work by healing the root cause of the tinnitus problem.

We have found that the people who have most successes with the tinnitus treatments have persisted with a course of treatments over a three month period and followed the dietary advice as well as the instructions closely.

This is not to say you must stop living, I am just saying that for the remedies to work correctly one needs to avoid eating and drinking foods and substances that could possible neutralize to some extent the efficacy of the remedies.

Having said all that, John and I have consulted regarding your unique circumstances that could be the cause of your tinnitus problems and believe that it would be best for you to embark on a course of treatments comprising two T-Gone Remedies to be taken in conjuction with each other.

    These are our recommendations.

  • Your long and continued exposure to loud noise both at your place of work and on the farm as a young man and the ear infections you experienced, have obviously left you with cochlear damage with the resultant hearing loss, tinnitus and sensitivity to noise.
  • This condition can only be treated with the Type 4 Tinnitus Treatment Remedy and it in view of the length of time you have suffered from tinnitus and the long periods where you have been exposed to noise, it is recommended that at least a three month, uninterupted course of treatments is taken.
  • Secondly, you mention nose and sinuses and ears feel stuffy most of the time and that you often have to take anti-biotics. It is very possible that the mucous in the inner ear has become too thick and is the cause of your feelings of stuffiness and congestion.
  • This thickening can happen as a result of large doses of anti-biotics for whatever reason and the result is that you are left with congestion and that stuffiness you mention. Obviously this can also lead to inner ear infections which will only aggravate the cochlear damage you already have.

Our solution to this is the Type 3 Sinus Tinnitus remedy which works to thin down that mucous in the inner ear, thus allowing it to drain out through the very thin Eustachian tubes. This will relieve the congestion and pressure (which adds to your tinnitus and hearing problems) and will also have the long term effect of reducing your problems with sinus.

  • So Rick our recommendation is that you should order the Type 4 Cochlear Damage Tinnitus remedy as well as the Type 3 Sinus Tinnitus remedy and take these two tinnitus remedies in conjunction with each other.

  • You should also take the remedies for a period of at least three months.
  • I realize in your position this is difficult and in view of this would be prepared to allow you a substantial discount and will call you at the telephone number you supplied to arrange this as this is not possible via the website order page.

I hope this answers most of your questions and sincerely hope we can relieve those awful tinnitus noises and hopefully normalize your life to some extent.

Tinnitus was from a loud speaker at a rock concert.

By John On October 7, 2006 No Comments

I have had tinnitus for 15 years. I believe the tinnitus was from a loud speaker at a rock concert when I was 19 but i never had any noise until i was 31 which was when my daughter almost died at birth.

This is only what I think is the reason for the noise my ear specialist told me to live with the which I have been doing but sometimes I wonder about my mood swings and feel my personality has changed since the birth of my daughter who is now 14.

I would like to know what you think and if this remedy could help me and the price of it I look forward to hearing from you.

What we have found is that whilst most tinnitus is caused from exposure to loud noise, as you were, often no tinnitus is experienced for many months and often years, after that exposure to the loud noise.

The tinnitus seems to be ‘triggered’ by an event, often a stressful situation, and then it stays with you. This often leads one to believe that the stressful situation is the cause of the tinnitus but this perception is wrong…

The root cause of the tinnitus is indeed the exposure to noise which has caused cochlear damage and the resultant tinnitus!

You can find out more information here > Tinnitus From Exposure To Noise

The cochlear damage tinnitus treatment remedy treats the root cause of your tinnitus problem.
