Alternative Methods to Treat Tinnitus
Ringing in the ears or tinnitus can wreak havoc to one’s life. Doctors and scientists say that there is no true cure for this condition. They propose other options like use of lidocaine or cold laser treatment for tinnitus. You can spend big time in the attempt to treat ringing in the ears but get not so impressive results. So, before you look for a treatment option, ask yourself if you need it. Many people with tinnitus can get along with their daily life without needing help from devices or drugs that alleviate ear ringing.
Anyway, alternative treatments for ringing in the ears include Gingko biloba, nutrient supplements, homeopathic remedies, ear candling, aromatherapy, and acupuncture. In most cases, the goal of alternative medicine is to provide natural healing that is not invasive and does not produce adverse effects. Gingko biloba is a popular herbal treatment for tinnitus. Some herbal treatment products mix Gingko biloba with other herbs like sunflower seeds and black cohosh.
Homeopathic remedy for tinnitus is also popular among many patients. Calcarea carbonica, carbo vegetabilis, coffea cruda, and lycopodium are some of the substances used in homeopathy. These compounds are prepared through successive dilution. The extremely dilute forms of these natural substances are said to activate natural healing mechanism of the body.
Nutrient supplementation is also a feature of alternative medicine. Since research shows that hearing impairment and tinnitus has been linked to Vitamin B12 and magnesium deficiency, some herbal remedies include these nutrients.

Dear Ellen and John,
I’ve been meaning to write for awhile now because I am one of your success stories and I know when I started with T-Gone, how important it was for me to see success. I frantically tried everything 4 years ago when the problem started. Although it
would come and go on any given day, it was a source of great distress.
In February 2009, I started taking Type 7 T-Gone because I was sure I had developed the ringing from an overload of stress gone unchecked. I periodically called Ellen and her kind encouragement to keep going was invaluable.
I notice some sound when I wake-up in the morning (I’m not sure why), but when I get moving, it goes away.
One year later, I can honestly say that the noise is 90% better. It is pretty much a non-issue. (and it had been the ONLY issue for a long time!)
I still take T-Gone because I’m aiming for 100%. But for anyone just starting who needs hope….It worked for me.
Ellen’s experience is my experience, too.
I feel free again, not ruled but the depressing limitation of tinnitus.
If I would say one thing to someone just starting on T-Gone, it would be – BE PATIENT.
The body is designed to heal, but give it a chance.
Thank you Ellen and John for the heartfelt work you are doing and the product you are providing.
Denise W.

How to Find Effective Alternative Treatment for Tinnitus
Tinnitus is one disconcerting audiologic condition suffered from by millions of people. It has varied causes that spans from ear damage to idiopathy. Nonetheless, it is, as always pointed out by experts, a symptom – not a disease. Thus, addressing it can sometimes be troublesome as doctors would have to pin point the real culprit, which may be hiding somewhere in a person’s body. There are even conditions that are thought to have nothing to do with the ears but still cause tinnitus – blood circulation problems, for instance. But looking for alternative treatment for tinnitus is not difficult. Here are some things you need to know.
1. Get medical examination – This is not like you are looking for cure when you do not actually know what disorder you have. As earlier said, the problem we are dealing with is not a disease by itself. Ringing in the ears can be a sign of an underlying condition, which must be medically assessed. You may have as simple as earwax impaction, which when removed should remove – in turn – annoying ringing noise in your hearing system.
2. Consult experts regarding your condition – Trying any of tinnitus treatment you have seen advertised somewhere is not advised. Why? Because different remedies work for different cases. It’s a good thing to follow medical advice. Maskers may be given to you to help you concentrate better on your daily activities. Do not try a product just because a friend told you it was effective. Be prudent.
3. Ask experienced naturopaths or homeopaths – Contrary to what most conventional medical practioners say, natural remedies do work – without pain or any adverse effects. Nonetheless, be wary of some programs on which you may be spending some cash with no real benefits. You can check out different sites devoted to natural medicine and other alternative remedies, but be sure to check all information before making a purchase.
4. Read product reviews – Alternative medicine is a broad respect and oftentimes people looking for such are led to sites that sell herbal supplements and homeopathic remedies. The efficacy of the products depends on the manufacturing procedure, the substances included, and the amount of each component. Note that specific products work for specific cases. While manufacturers may miss out on some details, buyers and users would be keen to report any added advantage or disadvantage of the product.
There are a number of effective tinnitus treatments and you usually find them online in no time. Do not hesitate to ask for details or ask your doctor before trying anything.

In some cases, when the cause of the tinnitus is found and treated, the ringing will go away on it’s on. However, for some people, the damage is done and the ringing is permanent.
